If the mobile gaming industry was a zoo, Zynga was the proverbial elephant in the room.
Post-acquisition, we were absorbed into the mothership. Over the next few months, we learned to build, ship and grow games on an international scale. Launching connected, social, mobile games and entertaining millions of people on-the-go was as much a right-brained exercise as it was left-brained.

Beyond aesthetics, I worked closely with the development team to ensure the gameplay mechanics were engaging and compelling. By combining our expertise, we designed a variety of entertaining activities and challenges that keep players entertained and invested. From engaging mini-games to thrilling adventures and friendly competitions, every aspect of the gameplay experience was crafted to deliver excitement and enjoyment.
In my role as Chief Game Designer, I assumed the responsibility of shaping the game's direction and overseeing a dedicated team of designers, developers, and artists.

Leading a team of skilled artists, we meticulously crafted a visually appealing world that captivates players from the moment they enter. Every detail, from the enchanting environments that provide the backdrop for dream houses to the lifelike animations of the virtual pets, was carefully considered to create a visually immersive experience.
Recognizing the significance of social interactions, we integrated Facebook Connect into Dream Pet House that allowed players to connect with each other. By enabling collaborative play, sharing of ideas, and showcasing dream houses, we created a vibrant and supportive community within the game. This community-driven aspect further enhanced player engagement and enriched the overall experience.

What's the Phrase?
Drawing inspiration from the timeless appeal of "Wheel of Fortune," this game takes the essence of the classic TV show and transforms it into an addictive word-guessing adventure tailored for mobile devices.
As the creative mind behind "What's the Phrase?", I played a pivotal role in every aspect of its development. From the initial concept to the final execution, I meticulously crafted an immersive experience that combines the excitement of guessing phrases with a user-friendly interface. I aimed to create a game that would engage players from the moment they launch it on their mobile devices.
In "What's the Phrase?", players are presented with a puzzle board featuring a hidden phrase or a well-known saying. They embark on a thrilling quest to unravel the phrase by guessing letters one at a time. With each correct guess, the letters appear on the board, gradually revealing the hidden phrase.
To add an element of strategy and excitement, players can spin a virtual wheel that determines the value of each letter they guess correctly. They earn points based on the letter's value and can accumulate even more points by correctly guessing consecutive letters without spinning the wheel again.
Similar to the TV show, "What's the Phrase?" also includes special tiles on the puzzle board. These tiles can multiply the points earned for a letter or grant bonus opportunities, adding an extra layer of challenge and rewards to the gameplay.
The game offers various game modes and categories, allowing players to choose their preferred themes or genres. They can challenge themselves with puzzles related to sports, movies, phrases, or even create their own custom puzzles. This ensures that players never run out of fresh and engaging content.
