Prince & Spring was Boxed's digital-only, $100m+ ARR, direct-to-consumer private label business. It allowed us to generate bigger profit margins for comparable SKUs, which we passed on to our loyal customers. It gave us assortment flexibility, made demand planning easier, and allowed Boxed to enter categories that were otherwise cost prohibitive.
In addition to its commercial success, my team won numerous Vertex Awards over the years for its design, brand and packaging.
I served as Creative Director for the majority of the products we brought to market.

In my position, I led the process of creating packaging designs, from initial concepts to final execution. Drawing upon my creative vision and deep understanding of the brand's values, I developed innovative and visually captivating designs that showcased the quality and sophistication synonymous with "Prince & Spring" products.
Collaborating closely with a team of talented designers and working alongside key stakeholders, I provided artistic direction and guidance to ensure that the packaging designs remained true to the brand's identity. Leveraging my expertise in design principles, typography, color theory, and visual storytelling, I meticulously crafted packaging designs that caught the eye and communicated the brand's value proposition effectively.
Beyond design execution, I actively collaborated with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, product development, and supply chain, to ensure that the packaging designs aligned seamlessly with the overall brand strategy and met technical requirements for production. I effectively communicated design concepts, provided guidance on feasibility, and managed the iterative design process to achieve optimal outcomes.
